About the program

Come work in America's first National Forest home to grizzly bears, bison, wolves, moose and elk. The North Zone of the Shoshone is comprised of 3 districts with 20 campgrounds, one cabin rental, and over 900 miles of trails.

What you'll do

This position is with the Developed Recreation Department. The incumbent will be stationed at one of our beautiful ranger stations where big horn sheep are seen out the back door. Job duties include; patrolling campgrounds, camper and visitor interactions, maintenance of forest service buildings and campgrounds, general grounds maintenance, and stocking of vault toilets. you will be working in the Clarks Fork area of the Shoshone National Forest. The work station you will be working out of is the Crandall ranger station.
