Heroes MAKE America - Manufacturing Operations - Employment Skills Training Program
About the program
Heroes MAKE America provides our participants with the skills and certifications to find and excel in careers in manufacturing.Our program is a combination of soft skills, on-line training, classroom instruction, and hands-on lab time. Participants whosuccessfully complete the program receive the nationally portable, industry-recognized certifications. Our Service membersparticipate in networking events and weekly tours of manufacturing and logistics companies to connect them to the influencersand career opportunities within those companies. Our program managers also facilitate introductions to manufacturers acrossthe country based on participant preferred work locations. As a supplement, Heroes Connect: Military to Manufacturing is ourprogram to facilitate virtual introductions with manufacturers who are hiring today. Heroes graduates have secured careers in avariety of roles such as supply chain, logistics, warehouse, and operations.
What you'll do
Heroes MAKE America graduates have gone into a variety of manufacturing roles such as production, maintenance, logisticsand supply, warehousing and material handling, and directly into leadership roles such as production supervisors, areamanagers, and operations.
