About the program
The objective of this program is to prepare the participant for a civilian career in technical construction coordination and construction management. The intern will develop practical skills in drawing and specification review, RFI and submittal coordination, document control, quality planning and inspections, equipment startup, commissioning support, issue tracking, field technical problem solving, construction technology, and cross-functional coordination while supporting complex construction projects.
What you'll do
As a Technical Coordinator intern, the participant will gain hands-on experience supporting technical construction activities on complex projects. The intern will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, technical managers, trade partners, and commissioning teams while developing practical skills in drawing and specification review, RFIs, submittals, document control, quality control, equipment startup, commissioning coordination, issue tracking, and field-based technical problem solving.
