Program Description

Senior Electronics Technician Position at Global GaugeJob Description:Global Gauge is seeking a proficient Senior Electronics Technician to join our team. This role focuses on high-voltage/low-power sensors for process control equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analog electrical circuitry, with preferred experience in high-voltage/low-power or pulse-power applications. The candidate should be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Job Description

General Duties / Responsibilities:Electrical and Electronics Assembly: Perform assembly and testing activities related to the manufacturing of gauge systems and related sensors. This includes soldering discrete components to circuit boards, wiring back panels and cabinets, and evaluating and assembling sensors according to prints.Tool Proficiency: Properly use electronics-related tools such as soldering irons, digital voltmeters (DVM), and hand tools. Perform basic measurement and inspection techniques as needed to ensure work accuracy.Attention to Detail: Follow instructions and prints meticulously to perform work accurately. Make recommendations for improvements to processes or layouts.Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other technical staff members to support production activities as directed by the Manager.Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as directed by the Manager.Qualifications:Associate's Degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience with analog electrical circuitry, high-voltage/low-power, or pulse-power applications.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions and prints.Proficiency with electronics-related tools and basic measurement/inspection techniques.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Key Skills:Analog Electrical CircuitryHigh-Voltage/Low-Power ApplicationsPulse-Power ApplicationsSoldering and AssemblyTool ProficiencyDetail-OrientedTeam Collaboration
