HUMC EMS - Paramedic (Medic) - Job Training Program
About the program
This program will prepare National Registered Paramedics for paramedic licensure in New Jersey. Service members will perform the tasks of 9-1-1 advanced life support response and interfacility critical care transport in collaboration with a critical care transport registered nurse.
What you'll do
HMH Paramedics provide advanced life support care to patients who request emergency services through 9-1-1. HMH Paramedics also support interfacility transfer operations, serving on a crew with a registered nurse, and in some cases an EMT. Paramedics have the ability to train and be considered for future employment as a flight paramedic.
Eligibility
Target military occupations
Army - 68W, Air Force - 4N0X1, Navy - HM, Coast Guard - HS
Must have a national registry paramedic certification and be able to provide copies of schoolhouse records in order to obtain a NJ Paramedic license and be eligible for employment after the Skillbridge opportunity.
