Training in this field is only available from the employer. The SkillBridge internship offers a unique opportunity to receive hands-on training. Agiliti’s training ensures adherence to ISO 13485:2016 standards.

What you'll do

The Surgical Equipment Repair Technician, Instrumentation is a non-technical degree role which:

  • Utilizes both technical and mechanical skills for the precision repairs of surgical medical instruments.
  • Inspects, evaluates, and tests incoming equipment to determine serviceability and repair requirements.
  • Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and removes, repairs, or replaces defective parts and completes all associated documentation and communication in a timely manner.
  • Works under the observation and guidance of a qualified Surgical Equipment Repair Technician or Supervisor.
