Commissioning Technician - On-the-Job Training
About the program
CriticalArc's Skillbridge program is intended to provide candidates with an approximately 90-day internship to gain hands-on, real-world experience performing building commissioning services in mission-critical environments. The goal of our program is to extend a full time offer at the end of the SkillBridge program.
What you'll do
During the Skillbridge program, candidates will perform the following job functions:- Read and review construction drawings and specifications for the accuracy and functionality of systems.- Assist with developing installation QA/QC checklists and Functional Performance Testing scripts for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Security systems.- Shadow and perform QA/QC and execute functional testing of equipment alongside commissioning engineers.- Document system issues and assist with troubleshooting alongside commissioning engineers.- Participate in commissioning progress meetings.- Maintain the project commissioning repository for all documentation.- Assist with managing the closeout of the commissioning process including review of training materials, system manuals, and the compiling of a final report.
