Program Description

The Central Transport SkillBridge program offers opportunities for participants to learn all aspects of our trucking operation. Opportunities include forklift operators, CDL A truck drivers, clerical, supervision, mechanic, and terminal management.

Job Description

Oversee inbound & outbound operations on the terminal dock, this includes the process of loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight. Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock workers. Hiring and onboarding hourly staff. Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded. Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards. Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.
