Program Description

SMB Accounting and Consulting LLC is a small business CPA and business consulting firm with internships available in all levels of accounting, business administration, quality assurance, and general management. Our primary clientele are small business federal government contractors, small start-up companies, and small to medium scaled businesses. Our clients are from different parts of the United States. This provides the ability to learn about contracting with the federal government, the required compliance, and common issues. We also serve a wide variety of industries which any intern would find a multitude of opportunities to begin to get to know.

Job Description

General administration and bookkeeping, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance, business strategies, quality assurance, inventory control, reading and recognizing key indicators on financial statements, and financial closeout will all be taught. Associates or higher in accounting is a must.

Eligibility

Associates degree or higher in accounting.
