Lukos Skillbridge Program - Internship

You will learn basic business functions such as recruiting and hiring processes, cost management, business decisions and capture planning, networking and information gathering, while learning the various types of government acquisition strategies and contract vehicles common to this industry, and what working in a civilian corporation is like on a day to day basis.Lukos is a small but growing business. Therefore, we can only currently work with one to two interns at a time. Therefore, we must be selective about which interns we choose. We will prioritize candidates with backgrounds we think would best benefit Lukos and whose experience we could best support during their transition to the civilian job market. As Lukos grows, we hope to be able to handle more interns.

Business Development Internship

There are no strict prerequisite barriers to entry; the program is designed to build foundational capture and business development competencies from the ground up through hands-on mentorship.Ideal Candidate Backgrounds:While a Bachelor’s degree in any field is favored, we place high value on practical operational, analytical, and defense/interagency experience. Strong preference is given to applicants with backgrounds in:Operational & Staff Environments: Prior assignments serving on a Joint Headquarters staff.Specialized Subject Matter: Human Performance Research and related domain studies.Federal Procurement: Hands-on experience as an Acquisition or Contracting Officer.Quantitative & Analytical Fields: Military analytical programs, including operations research and data analysis.Whole-of-Government / Interagency Operations: Cross-functional experience supporting entities such as the Department of State, USAID, or DHS.
