About the program

The Certified Nursing Assistant SkillBridge Training Program is designed to prepare transitioning service members for entry-level patient care roles in a civilian healthcare setting. The program combines formal CNA classroom instruction, certification preparation, clinical skills development, job shadowing, department orientation, mentorship, feedback, and employment readiness support.The first three weeks focus on CNA education and certification preparation. The remaining ten weeks provide structured exposure to two patient care departments, allowing participants to observe, practice, and develop workplace readiness under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.Participants who successfully complete the program may be considered for open positions based on business needs, qualifications, certification status, and performance.

What you'll do

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient/resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. This position assists with activities of daily living, monitors and reports changes in patient condition, and supports clinical staff in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. The CNA promotes patient comfort, dignity, and well-being while maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive care environment across various healthcare settings
