Associate Systems Engineer
About the program
Interns will learn enterprise data storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI), virtualization (VMware), and operating systems (Windows, Linux/UNIX), and learn to apply those skills to pre-sales engineering: running product demos, sizing and configuring customer solutions, building TCO/ROI models, and supporting the sales team on technical questions. The internship builds toward a full-time Associate Systems Engineer (technical sales) role.
What you'll do
As an Associate Systems Engineer intern, you'll learn to be the technical expert on the sales team, helping customers understand how Pure's data storage solutions solve their IT challenges. Working with Inside Sales, you'll learn to run product demos, size and configure systems, answer technical questions, and build cost and value (TCO/ROI) comparisons that help customers make decisions. You'll also learn to connect customers with Pure's engineering, support, and product teams. This role fits servicemembers who have worked hands-on with servers, storage, networks, or virtualization (VMware, Windows, Linux) and who are comfortable briefing, troubleshooting, and working directly with people. Relevant military experience may include IT, communications/signal, cyber, or network and systems administration roles. This is an in-office role.
