Position SummaryTechnergetics is seeking transitioning service members for a Software Engineer SkillBridge Internship supporting the development of mission-focused solutions for Department of War (DoW) customers. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced software engineers to design, develop, test, integrate, and improve applications that support operational and enterprise mission needs.Key Responsibilities--Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web, mobile, and software applications.--Collaborate with software developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and technical leads throughout the software development lifecycle.--Develop and test application features, user interfaces, APIs, and data integrations.--Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, documentation, and software quality assurance.--Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, demonstrations, and team collaboration.--Support the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and data-driven capabilities.--Translate operational requirements and user feedback into practical software improvements.--Gain experience developing solutions within DoW technical and cybersecurity environments.Desired QualificationsCandidates should have an interest or background in software development, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data science, or a related technical field. Experience with programming languages or frameworks such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, React, or similar technologies is beneficial but not required for all candidates.Successful candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative development team.SkillBridge EligibilityApplicants must meet DoW SkillBridge eligibility requirements and receive approval from their military chain of command prior to participation.
