Program Description

The Afloat Cryptology & Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Program is an SRC umbrella program, encompassing work on major Navy programs including: Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE), Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP), Fleet Electronic Support (FES), and Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N). SRC has provided a wide range of engineering and technical services, either in direct support of, or adjacent to, these programs continuously since 1994. SRC currently has personnel supporting this program in Charleston, SC; Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Mayport, FL; Pensacola, FL; Honolulu, HI; and Yokosuka, Japan.

Job Description

Cryptologic Maintenance Technician/Trainer: As a Cryptologic Maintenance Technician/Trainer, you will be a Technical Representative (TechRep) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more major Navy Cryptologic programs. Your duties may include, but not limited to: integrating, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing systems; and training others in your techniques. Cryptologic Operational Trainer: As a Cryptologic Operation Trainer you will be developing and maintaining curriculum, instructing Navy courses, conducting new install, delta and just-in-time training onboard U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard Platforms and Shore Sites, providing Tier II distance support to deployed platforms and providing technical and operational testing.

Eligibility

The Cryptologic Maintenance Technician/Trainer and the Cryptologic Operational Trainer both require a minimum of a six years work-related experience or a combination of four years work-related experience with successful completion of an advanced technical school in the subject matter area or other relevant technical discipline. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. In addition, for the Cryptologic Operational Trainer a degree in Education, Master Training Specialist (MTS), or equivalent, is preferred.
