What you'll do

Eligibility
Target military occupations
Generally, just fixed-wing pilots but some rotary-wing pilots may be accepted if they have sufficient fixed-wing experience. Some Navigators or NFOs may be accepted with sufficient pilot experience. RPA/UAV pilots must have extensive experience in manned aircraft. USAF: 11 series (NOTE: 11U must have extensive experience in manned aircraft). USA: 15A, 15B, 155A/E/F/G. USN: 131X. USMC: 75 series (RPA/UAV pilots must have extensive experience in manned aircraft).
Military rating as a fixed-wing pilot. Pilots of RPAs/UAVs must have extensive manned aircraft experience. Rotary-wing pilots with sufficient fixed-wing experience may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Navigators/CSOs/WSOs/NFOs with sufficient fixed-wing pilot experience may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Good to know
Participants must be willing to submit the documents and applications required to be issued civilian certificates equivalent to their military certifications. Pilot internship participants must hold a military aeronautical rating (pilot, navigator, naval aviator, or naval flight officer).
