Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all employment/legal requirements.Communicate and craft effective company policies, update employee handbooks, contracts, job descriptions, and duties.Maintain accurate records of all documents pertaining to company policies/procedures and employeesProcess time, attendance and payrollMaintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packagesMaintain confidential company and employee informationEnsure positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding PrinciplesIdentify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in solving such issuesOversee implementation of ECF programs to comply with various governmental regulations dealing with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other related Federal & State lawsResponsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing new hires and employee data changes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information entered in the systemResponsible for making sure all staffing needs are met in a timely mannerResponsible for new employee orientationsUnderstand and educate employees regarding ECF's benefits, including support of the annual enrollment processAssist in projects / initiatives to improve existing HR processes and systemsAssist with investigations and formulate proper responses to government, legal, or internally reported employee relations issuesComply with external audits from regulatory agencies (Air Force, US Customs, TSA, and etc.)Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasksStrong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employeesLeadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employeesAttention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctlyQualifications and Education Requirements:Self MotivatedStrong written and verbal communication skillsHR Management Certificate / Bachelor’s Degree in related field/discipline or equivalent experienceKnowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and practicesWorking knowledge of employee relationsWorking knowledge of all areas of human resourcesBasic knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applicationsAble to analyze long-term implications of business decisionsExcellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate position with clarity at all levelsAbility to provide a high level of service to internal and external customersHigh energy and high motivation, with tolerance for stressful situations in a fast-paced environmentGreat work ethic with a can-do, self-starting attitudeGreat interpersonal and organizational skillsProficiency in spoken and written EnglishPreferred Skills:CounselingHuman ResourcesMS Office
