Position Summary BGI is currently seeking a SkillBridge candidate to support Business Development including Capture Management, Proposal Development, and Strategic Growth for upcoming business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities Business Development and Leadership 1. New business strategy development and execution 2Opportunity identification and shaping 3. Threat identification and mitigation 4. Mission area business analysis 5. New business capture support 6. Proposal development 7. Collaboration with executive team and program directors Customer Understanding 1. Develop and maintain relationships with government decision makers 2. Providing insight into government acquisition 3. Develop and execute business development plans to influence all aspects of new business capture 4. Provide the growth team with customer information, planning, analysis, and strategy on each new business pursuit leading to bid/no bid decisions in support of the long-range strategic plan 5. Providing analysis of future customer requirements Analysis 1. Supporting robust competitive assessments, identifying win discriminators, supporting price-to-win, win themes, and determining resources required to execute new business development activities 2. Providing decisional analysis of customer acquisitions, decision milestones, and practices 3. Supporting industry teaming and collaboration across the business areas and industry teammates to accomplish strategic objectives Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills) Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 2. 5+ years of relevant aerospace experience performing engineering, program management, business development or procurement 3. 3+ years of management experience 4. Possess a strong understanding of DoD organization structure and missions 5. Working knowledge of DoD acquisition process 6. Secret clearance 7. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 8. Proven leadership skills 9. Effective communication skills both written and oral 10. O-3 and Above Preferred Qualifications: 1. Direct prior experience in government acquisition 2. Experience with requirements/architecture development, mission planning, program management, procurement/acquisitions 3. Current user and acquisition customer relationships 4. Technical writing and proposal development experience
