As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will learn Cybersecurity Essentials, Networking, Operating Systems, Programming, Firewall Management, Encryption Technologies, Ethical Hacking, Hacker Mindset, Analysis Techniques, Advanced Persistent Threat, Threat Hunting, Penetration Testing, Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Management, EDR & SIEM, SOC Operations, Leadership, Communications, and Industry Certifications.
Eligibility
There are no set education requirements for becoming a Cybersecurity Analyst. That said, there are some common ways for professionals to demonstrate that they possess the right education level — mostly by earning a bachelor’s degree. Many earn a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity and related fields. Others satisfy this requirement by gaining the equivalent work experience with relevant certifications.There is no set-in-stone progression of work experience necessary to become a cybersecurity Analyst. With this said, cybersecurity Analysts in the United States are expected to have three to five years of professional experience.What would a career path for a cybersecurity Analyst look like?
