Program Description

This opportunity is with the Warfighter Performance Program in the Health Solutions Business Sector within Leidos. The Warfighter Performance Program team supports Naval Health Research Center’s Warfighter Performance Department which performs cutting-edge research to improve service member resilience and return to duty. Laboratory and field research is conducted by researchers with backgrounds in physiology, psychology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and data science. Specific topics include but are not limited to: basic and applied research in decision-making and performance; sleep loss and fatigue effects on warfighter performance, health, and safety; data analysis and writing.

Job Description

Review of current literature and operational demands to provide a background of problems affecting the military community in the area of military human performance. Development of cutting-edge research protocols to improve service member resilience and return to duty. Execution of human subjects data collection in the operational/field setting, adhering to human research protections procedures and research protocol parameters.Analysis of data and creation of conclusions.Creation of reports, presentations, and other briefing documents for delivery to military and academic stakeholders.
