We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor to join our team to help manage our Beaufort, South Carolina Warehouse.
Job Description
Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor Orientation and Onboarding (40 hours)· Introduction to the company's culture, policies, and procedures· Overview of the warehouse operations and safety protocols· Familiarization with the logistic system and tools Technical Skills Development (320 hours)· Hands-on training in managing inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes· Training in the use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems· Training in how to palletizing, loading, QC and inspection.· Training on dock production monitoring· Inventory control and management· Equipment inspection. Leadership Skills Development (160 hours)· Training in team management, including hiring, training, and performance management· Communication skills development, including effective feedback, conflict resolution, and delegation· Problem solving and Decision Making skills· Coaching and mentoring from senior warehouse managers Business Skills Development (160 hours)· Marketing and sales training to understand customer needs and trends· Business writing skills development, including report writing and email communication skills Project-Based Learning (280 hours)· Participate in warehouse improvement projects, such as process improvement, cost reduction, or quality improvement initiatives· Work on cross-functional projects with other departments to gain exposure to different business areas and build collaboration skills· Participate in community outreach and volunteer projects to build leadership skills and strengthen corporate social responsibility. In total, this training plan provides 960 hours of training. The plan includes a mix of on-the-job training, online courses, and other development opportunities to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
