Program Description

Procurement and Contracts Management Division (PCMD)

Job Description

PCMD seeks individuals who are in interested in taking on various responsibilities across a broad acquisition portfolio that includes both policy and execution. Individuals shall have broad acquisition experience that may include providing customer support for requirements development; managing contract award and administration; executing closeout procedures; writing procurement policy; assisting with acquisition career management; or leading initiatives that touch procurement activities.All related experience will be considered with priority given to those with any of the following: running or working in an acquisition career management program; working on a contract closeout team; running or working in a quality assurance program for acquisitions; and assisting customers developing acquisition documents. All interested individuals shall have a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Certification or have taken the requisite training at a minimum (or equivalent).

Eligibility

Pre-employment drug test; eligibility for TS clearance. U.S. Citizen, minimum 18 years of age, and must meet at least one of the following criteria: Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four-year institution) and have completed two semesters before the internship start date. Have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two- or four- year institution) no more than two years before the internship program start date. Are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who possesses a high school diploma or its equivalent and has served on active duty for any length of time in the two years preceding the internship program start date.
